The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing inspection and testing of purchased materials, components, and products to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections following documented procedures.
- Record inspection and test data accurately.
- Operate test and measurement equipment as per instructions.
- Identify and document non-conformances in the Non-Conforming Material Review system.
- Participate in Gauge Repeatability & Reproducibility (GR&R) studies.
- Collect data for First Article inspections and special test requests.
- Assist in data analysis and trending.
- Train other inspectors as needed.
- Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience with inspection and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with measurement tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
