Position Title: Software Development Engineer
Location: Seattle or Austin
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Range: $50 - $52 per hour
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Design and build scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective data ingestion pipelines utilizing AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Glue, EventBridge, CloudWatch, and CDK.
- Develop and implement data transformation and integration processes using Python.
- Ensure data quality through data validation, cleansing, and deduplication techniques.
- Design and implement optimized data models to support marketing analytics.
- Collaborate with analysts and product managers to understand data needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Automate infrastructure deployment and maintenance processes using CI/CD principles.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize data pipelines, infrastructure, and processes for improved performance and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of the data infrastructure.
Must Have:
- 3 years of software engineering experience building solutions using AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, EventBridge, CloudWatch, CDK).
- Extensive experience developing new applications or features using Python.
- Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD best practices.
- Experience using SQL to query data from relational databases or data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of backend API services and development.
- 2 years of professional experience working in the US (excluding University experience).
Nice To Have:
- Experience in data mining, ETL processes, and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
Salary : $50 - $52
