Roles and Responsibilities:
Position 1: Sourcing Specialist (General Sourcing Focus)
- Partner directly with hiring managers and recruiters to understand the talent requirements for senior-level positions (director to executive director level).
- Conduct external sourcing efforts, including talent mapping and presenting passive candidates directly to hiring managers.
- Utilize advanced sourcing tools and techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Smart Recruiters, and SeekOut, to identify and engage qualified candidates.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of high-caliber candidates for immediate and future openings.
- Collaborate with recruiters during the briefing stage to align sourcing strategies with hiring goals.
Position 2: Sourcing and Talent Insight Specialist (Market Intelligence and Talent Insights Focus)
- Perform all duties outlined in the Sourcing Specialist role with additional emphasis on market intelligence and talent insights.
- Create and deliver market intelligence and talent availability projects for specific therapeutic areas or regions.
- Leverage tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights to generate actionable insights for hiring managers and recruitment teams.
- Present data-driven recommendations to hiring managers and stakeholders on talent market trends and availability.
Qualifications:
Must Have for Both Roles:
- Sourcing Experience: Demonstrated experience in external sourcing, ideally within agency or retained search firms. Specific experience in sourcing, rather than full-cycle recruiting, is preferred.
- Pharmaceutical/Biotech Experience: Proven track record of recruiting within the pharmaceutical or biotech sectors.
- ATS/CRM Systems Expertise: Proficiency in tools such as Smart Recruiters, SeekOut, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- LinkedIn Talent Insights: Required for the Talent Insight Specialist role; experience creating market intelligence or talent insights projects is essential.
Nice to Have:
- Senior-Level Recruitment Experience: Familiarity with recruiting for director-level and above positions.
- Talent Market Analysis: Experience leading talent market insight projects or presenting talent availability analyses.
