Day to Day:
- This specific role will be working with the development team in the new program for heart valve and delivery system. From initial evaluation through the design verification testing to commercial launch.
- Understanding of inspection from a skills perspective.
- Process evaluation will be part of the day to day.
- Supplier Development Quality Engineer working with the New Product Development (NPD) team
- Focus on new components and suppliers
- Initial evaluation of materials
- Reviewing inspection documents and qualification reports
- Supporting process validation and process controls
- Engaging with internal stakeholders and suppliers
Top Skills:
- Experience working with suppliers
- Background in supplier development, design assurance, or development quality
- Medical device industry experience
Required:
- Bachelor level degree in an Engineering Discipline or other Technical Field.
- 2-5 years of related work experience with a good understanding of specified functional area.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Experience in medical device is required unless they have 4-5 years minimum of experience in a non-medical device role.
- Quality experience is required. Either with suppliers or in development role; A quality background does not need to be with suppliers.
- Ability to be cross functional is required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of full-time working experience as an engineer.
Pay range:
- $30-35/Hr
