Lead Network Engineer
Location : Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid)
Pay Range : $65 - $70 / hr
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Network Engineer to join our team. This role will be part of the Access / Shared Services Engineering team , supporting architecture and engineering functions for Employee Experience Technology products and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Session Border Controllers, SIP, LAN / WAN, VoIP , and AWS cloud technologies .
Responsibilities :
Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and document results.Develop and write scripts, Methods of Procedure (MOP), and low-level designs for implementing and configuring networking solutions.Provide software and hardware support for Sonus / Ribbon Session Border Controllers (9k, 7k, 2k), SecureLogix, Intrado E911 , and related integrations.Work on complex integrated configurations involving SIP, LAN / WAN, and VoIP technologies.Collaborate with teams integrating Session Border Controllers solutions with Avaya, Cisco, and Genesys systems.Create and present technical documentation, PowerPoint presentations, and network designs to leadership.Work closely with technical and business teams to ensure seamless deployment and support.Apply project management skills to drive implementation and troubleshooting.Must haves :
7 years of experience in carrier / transport and SIP access technologies .Experience working in the telecommunications industry (preferably with carriers like AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, or Avaya ).Hands-on experience with Session Border Controllers, specifically Ribbon (mandatory) .1-3 years of experience in LAN / WAN networking .
Strong expertise in SIP, VoIP, and network protocols .Knowledge of AWS cloud networking .Ability to work independently with a high level of motivation and self-direction .Strong communication and documentation skills, with experience in technical presentations .Job Requirement
