Details:
- Pay: $55,329 – $78,363 Benefits
- Schedule: M-F, 7:30am - 3:30pm, 185/186 days per year
- Location: Dorchester Secure / Commonwealth Secure Detention / Suffolk Secure Detention / Mariposa Girls Program
Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized, engaging lessons aligned with IEPs
- Differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Collaborate with DYS staff to support student growth
- Provide social-emotional support and transition planning
- Monitor and report on IEP progress
- Engage families through conferences and events
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- MA license in Mild-to-Moderate Disabilities (Grades 5–12)
- Commitment to teaching high-risk youth
- Master’s Degree preferred, multilingual candidates highly desired
