Material Handler Altavista, VA, 1st Shift........................................................
- $16- hour
- 1st Shift 7am to 330pm
- Light Industrial
- Full-time
- Over-Time Available
- Contract to permanent option
Computer Skills; shipping/receiving; kiting; forklift Education: HS or Equivalent Duties: This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Loads, unloads, and moves materials (crates, boxes and raw materials) within or near plant, yard or work site. Reads and follows work orders and/or oral instructions; uses hand tools to open containers. Transports materials using handtruck, electric dolly, wheelbarrow or other devices. Additional experience required - Data entry using ORACLE (ADMS). Measure and weigh materials using weighing scale and ruler or similar devices. Computer Skills. Experience with shipping (UPS/FedEx) and receiving (preferred). Will be required to operate an electric or battery operated Forklift and/or other heavy machinery equipment. High School graduate or equivalent. 0-2 Years experience.
