Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement secure infrastructure designs and configurations
• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Participate in regular security audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Engage in ongoing learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and best practices
• Work closely with engineering teams to develop and deploy secure infrastructure solutions
About You
We're looking for an experienced individual with a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and 6 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer role or similar. You should have expertise in the following areas:
• Linux
• AWS, MASH, and VMs
• Networking, Firewalls, and Load Balancers
• Terraform scripting and VM provisioning
• Deployments of distributed web applications
• Docker, Docker Compose container technology
• Docker Swarm
• Public Key Infrastructure
• Git
Additionally, you may also have experience with:
• eVo, CoDE, and UWE environments
• API Gateways
• Ansible scripting and development
• Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana (ELK) maintenance and configuration
• Python scripting and development
• Relational Databases (Amazon RDS, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL, Percona)
• HAProxy
• MongoDB
• Java / Spring Boot troubleshooting (error logs)
• Kafka Message Broker
• Hazelcast Memory Cache
• NiFi maintenance and configuration
