Medical Assistant

BeeperMD Medical Company is currently seeking qualified and experienced Medical Assistants to join our mobile team providing at-home Primary and Urgent Care services within the Boynton, FL area.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Report to patients' location and/or medical lab daily and provide quality patient care
- MA duties
- Taking medical histories
- Explaining treatment procedures to patients
- Preparing patients for examinations
- Perform routine laboratory testing
- Collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
- Draw blood
- Instruct patients about medication and special diets
- Run testing
- Input testing results into the database electronic system

Licenses/Certification (Required):

- MA Florida State License (clear and active)
- Phlebotomy Certification (required)
- IV Certification
- ASCP Certification
- BLS Certification
- Laboratory experience: 1 to 3 years
- Quest Diagnostic previous experience (preferred)
- Medical experience: 1 to 3 years (preferred)
- EMR system experience (preferred)
- Must pass a background check

Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a highly professional constantly changing environment. Candidates must be efficient working alone and in a group setting, reliable, and self-starters.

Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Day shift, Evening shift. Flexible hours.

Pay: $20.00-25.00/hr
Pay varied based on previous experience, education, and availability.
