Collar City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, conveniently located in the beautiful upstate New York Capital Region . The facility provides inpatient skilled nursing and rehabilitation and wound care therapy.
Collar City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is actively seeking motivated LPNs for our skilled nursing facility.
The candidate we seek will be responsible for :
- Recording health details of residents; including vitals & temperature.
- Recognizing high-risk situations and report them appropriately
- Administering medications and injections to residents as needed.
- May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Helping residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
- Monitoring residents’ food and liquid intake and output.
- The LPN must be knowledgeable on applicable state laws and regulations on nursing care. Nursing is practiced in cooperation and collaboration with other members of the team and providers of service.
