Who We Are

Collation.AI is a comprehensive data aggregation and reporting platform offering AI-driven backoffice, portfolio analytics, and client reporting solutions for Wealth Managers.

We originated from the WealthTech provider Canopy.cloud, which reports on over USD 170 billion in assets and is supported by many Family Offices, Credit Suisse, and UBS.

Our AI bots, extract data from any system (or PDF document), put it into a data warehouse and maintain data integrity and consistency, we create workflows around the data in the warehouse, then data is pushed to any system or application our clients want.

The Role

We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Team. As a Data Analyst, you are a key technical resource throughout our sales process and product development to help deliver the value of Collation.AI.

You will liaise regularly between our Sales, Product, Engineering teams. Strategically, you will assist in building out resources for the Data team to institutionalize the knowledge for our current and future Data Analysts.

Our ideal candidate is very well organized with a good understanding of financial data (e.g. Transactions, Positions, Cash, etc.) management, data manipulation, data reconciliation (e.g. spotting and data bug fixing), building data workflows, coding in different languages (e.g. Python).

The best candidates will have experience previously working within the wealth management (WM), investment management (IM), registered investment advisors (RIAs), family offices (FOs), external asset managers (EAMs) industries and ideally have had exposure to the tools and processes used by these types of clients (e.g. Addepar, Orion, Tamarac, Black Diamond, Archway, Masttro, Quickbooks, Sage Intacct, Xero, NetSuite, Business Central, Allvue, Salesforce, Hubspot, Wealthbox, eMoney, Archlabs, Canoe Intelligence, Bill.com, Yardi, etc.)

Familiarity with Microsoft Tech. Stack is also a bonus (e.g. Azure, PostgreSQL, PowerBI, Sharepoint, etc.)

What You’ll Do

· Support Sales Executives with clients throughout the entire sales process by building workflows between the tools used by the wealth management industry (please see ‘’The Role’’ section above for more details), aggregate data, manage data, manipulate and transform data, normalize and standardize data, reconcile data (e.g. fix the data bugs spotted), access and work with individual databases.

· Support the sales effort with “Proof of Concepts”. Understand prospective clients key business requirements, load client data, and design custom demo environments to help clients conceptualize their future Collation.AI experience.

· Support in designing solutions for prospective clients to address their current business needs. De-risk future implementation projects by outlining and validating a comprehensive approach to address client requirements.

Who You Are

  • At least 1 year of experience in the Financial Data Management space including roles in data analyst, data engineer, reconciliation specialist, FinTech deployment.
  • Worked at prior Wealth Management, FinTech/WealthTech, SaaS companies in similar roles such as data, engineering, product, deployments.
  • Knowledge of database concepts, cloud infrastructure, security, SQL, Python and APIs.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Artifical Intelligence and/or Engineering).
  • You are based in the United States of America.
  • Understanding of modern software architecture.
  • Previous experience/understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a plus.
  • Ability to grasp financial concepts.
  • Ability to multi-task and track processes and deliverables for numerous prospective and existing clients.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and timelines.
  • Effective oral and written communicator (our corporate language is English) with the ability to interface with members at all levels of an organization, both internally and externally.
