What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerical Support Professional position at Collection Associates?
Collection Associates is searching for an energetic professional for our In-house Legal Department. The successful candidate is detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency and professionalism; Demonstrates initiative and follow-through all while managing multiple competing deadlines; Handles confidential information professionally and consistent with legal and ethical policies; Works well individually and also as a team; Possesses excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills and typing skills (60wpm).
Duties include: prepare legal papers, such as complaints, motions, garnishments and subpoenas under the supervision of an attorney, maintain databases and filing systems, assists with legal research, clerical and administrative tasks, file organization, schedule hearings with courts and update event calendars, performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties that are necessary to run a legal department efficiently. Experience preferred, but we will train the right person.
