We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of social media marketing, SEO, and public relations, along with a keen eye for detail and strong proofreading skills.
Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Manage daily social media operations, including content creation, scheduling posts, and community management.
- Monitor social media channels for trends and insights using social listening tools to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with the e-commerce team to create promotional campaigns that drive traffic and sales.
- Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility on search engines like Google.
- Create visually appealing graphics and videos using Adobe software to enhance social media posts.
- Conduct regular performance analysis of social media campaigns and adjust strategies based on analytics.
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media marketing with a strong portfolio showcasing successful campaigns.
- Knowledge of e-commerce principles and how they integrate with social media strategies.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools to enhance online visibility.
- Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for content creation.
- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail in written communication.
- Experience in public relations or managing brand reputation on social platforms is a plus.
- Ability to analyze data from social media metrics to inform decision-making processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
