ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Be well versed in all scopes, systems, and assemblies including site work, structural, concrete, enclosure, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• Schedule and coordinate work activities to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Manage all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure material are delivered as scheduled and sufficient labor is provided to support the project schedule.
• Actively manage risk, safety, and quality to ensure expectations are met.
• Regularly provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction/Engineering
• 5 years’ experience or an equivalent of 10 years of experience
•  Has Commercial Multi- Family Construction experience.
• Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Direct procurement, scheduling, and supervision of the project
• Staff oversight and mentoring
• Risk management, safety, and quality control
• Lead weekly construction coordination meetings for each project
• Read and interpret specifications and plans
• Examine and inspect site and work progress and quality daily
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and safety audits to ensure work is performed safely
• Ensure the submission of field reports documenting personnel, production, safety, and quality performance
• Provide ongoing reporting
• Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties
• Assist with business development initiatives to secure future projects
• Coordinate required inspections with local authorities

      WORK ENVIRONMENT: ·         In office setting ·         Travel Required (50% - 75%)

• Position involves occasional sitting, bending, walking, and lifting
• Must visit multiple construction job sites, which may expose the employee to uneven surfaces, outdoor weather conditions and extreme temperatures
• Must be able to move around prospective or current project sites
