ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Be well versed in all scopes, systems, and assemblies including site work, structural, concrete, enclosure, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
- Schedule and coordinate work activities to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Manage all subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure material are delivered as scheduled and sufficient labor is provided to support the project schedule.
- Actively manage risk, safety, and quality to ensure expectations are met.
- Regularly provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Construction/Engineering
- 5 years’ experience or an equivalent of 10 years of experience
- Has Commercial Multi- Family Construction experience.
- Must be willing to travel and/or relocate.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Office
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Direct procurement, scheduling, and supervision of the project
- Staff oversight and mentoring
- Risk management, safety, and quality control
- Lead weekly construction coordination meetings for each project
- Read and interpret specifications and plans
- Examine and inspect site and work progress and quality daily
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and safety audits to ensure work is performed safely
- Ensure the submission of field reports documenting personnel, production, safety, and quality performance
- Provide ongoing reporting
- Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties
- Assist with business development initiatives to secure future projects
- Coordinate required inspections with local authorities
