What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regulatory Paralegal position at Collective Health?
What you'll do :
- Monitor, track and analyze federal and state legislation and regulations, such as HIPAA Administrative Simplification, ERISA, NSA, and ACA as they affect the company and its clients
- Manage and oversee third party administrator licenses, reporting, and annual filings
- Facilitate review and compile input from cross functional stakeholders to analyze impact of complex regulations
- Streamline internal legal processes by identifying and implementing efficiencies, such as checklists and templates, including designing new workflows
- Develop policies and procedures associated with regulatory functions such as ERISA claims rules, NSA compliance, ACA compliance
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track key performance indicators related to regulatory compliance, identify trends, and predict potential risks
- Help manage and maintain corporate and regulatory licenses, filings, and records
- Project manage and spearhead process design for legal team initiatives, including helping to identify and implement process improvements
- Provide litigation support including disseminating legal hold notices and compiling and organizing responsive material
- Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments in the healthcare industry
- Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals on legal research and analysis

Pay Transparency Statement
This is a hybrid position based out of our Lehi, San Francisco, or Plano office, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week in Lehi and San Francisco, and three weekdays per week in Plano. #LI-hybrid
The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the hourly rate, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
