Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate licensed mental health professional to join our team remotely as an Addiction Counselor. The ideal candidate will be an experienced LPC, LCSW, or LMSW who is committed to supporting individuals affected by addiction and mental health challenges. You will play a critical role in providing therapy, creating treatment plans, and promoting overall well-being for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients facing addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client needs, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Offer compassionate advocacy for clients’ rights and work to reduce systemic barriers affecting their access to care.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to ethical and legal guidelines in all client interactions.
- Participate in virtual case conferences and team meetings to review client progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
- Stay current with best practices and the latest trends in addiction counseling and mental health care through professional development.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Active licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMSW.
- At least two years of experience providing clinical services, with a focus on addiction counseling or related fields.
- Strong therapeutic skills with experience in individual, family, and group therapy settings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage clients via virtual platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, remote team.
