What are the responsibilities and job description for the Principal of Prairie Point Middle School position at College Community School District?
The College Community School District is seeking an experienced, energetic, creative and student-centered leader to serve as the next Principal of Prairie Point Middle School. The College Community School District serves over 5800 students in the Cedar Rapids - Iowa City Corridor. Prairie Point Middle School serves 900 students in grades 7-8 and employs over 128 certified and classified staff. Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Secondary Programs and Superintendent, the Prairie Point MS Principal will oversee and grow the instructional program with a focus on success for all students, including college/career readiness and preparedness to be active citizens and community members. The successful candidate will display the highest levels of quality in his or her personal communication, confidentiality and ethical decision-making. Previous administrative experience is required, experience as a lead principal is preferred. The yearly contract length for this position is 225 days with a minimum salary of $120,000.
