Job Title:
· Early Learning Classroom Support Floater
Job Brief:
· To ensure high quality learning and student/teacher ratios are maintained when regular early learning support staff are absent. We strive to work as a team to help students meet their full potential through the implementation of dynamic educational programs. This is an ideal opportunity for retirees, veterans, students, and people needing a flexible schedule.
Location:
· College Hill Early Learning Center.
Salary:
· $11.50 – 13.25/hour.
Hours Per Day:
· Typical hours: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
o Times may vary depending on the building assignment.
o Flexible hours depending on availability.
o Average workday = 8 hours.
Days Per Year:
· Positions available during the regular school year.
· Options for summer employment.
Benefits:

Qualifications:
· High School Diploma/GED.
· Childcare Experience (preferred).
· CPR and First Aid certificates are highly recommended.
· All USD 383 employees must pass a background check.
Reports To:
· Teacher/Principal.
Job Duties:
· Assist or directly carry out educational activities designed by the educator.
· Responsible for meal preparation and supervises rest time.
· Engage with students during indoor/outdoor play with precautions for student safety.
· Guide classroom behavior in an age-appropriate way.
· Support the needs of students during small groups or individual instruction.
· Respond appropriately to the cultural, economic, and linguistic differences between students.
· Respect the confidentiality and privacy of all students, parents, and staff members.
· Other duties as assigned by educator.
