What are the responsibilities and job description for the Handyman Assistant position at College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving?
Hometown Hammer is looking for a Handyman Assistant to do small to medium projects at Residential properties. Applicants must be presentable, reliable, and able to work independently to meet timelines while producing quality results.
Expectations are but not limited to:
- Complete small to medium repairs, remodeling, and home improvement projects
- Communicate with customers and office about scope of work, cost estimates and acquiring additional work
- Ensure the efficient use of materials and maintain adequate stock of necessary equipment
- Collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed
- Keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced, clean, and in good working order and condition
Compensation included but not limited to:

Requirements:
- a valid Driver's license
- able to work in the US
- Skilled tradesman with 2 years of experience in home maintenance, repair and remodeling
- Must be able to handle a 32' ladder by yourself
- Install/repair tile
- Drywall repair installation
- Able to use a tablet
- Ability to work independently
- Pass background check & drug test
- Clean driving record
- Go up and down a ladder
- lift approximately 50lbs
- pull a trailer as needed

- siding, soffit, fascia repair
- window replacement
- deck repair/building
- touch up painting
- assembly
- carpentry
- Fence Repair
- Framing & door adjustments/installs
- Lite Electrical/Plumbing

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
