TRAINING SPECIALIST :
As part of the training team, this position is responsible for the implementation of key training and talent development initiatives throughout the CHHJ / M system. Responsibilities include playing a key role in Launch Support Visits in the field, virtual Franchise Management School, other virtual trainings and events, and regional and / or system-wide trainings and events. Additionally, the Training Specialist will periodically provide individual and group coaching of Franchise Partners and their teams and, when applicable, will interact with our corporate locations in the capacities outlined below. Lastly, the Training Specialist will act as an operational subject matter expert for the training team and contribute to all team projects and initiatives as requested by leadership. This role will be accountable for the quality of all deliverables being of the highest standards and for the promoting of the H.U.N.K.S. Way of delivering exceptional service for our clients.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Program Management : Manage the nuances that are part of training programs – to include, but not limited to, scheduling, communicating with attendees before, during, and after the training, and organizing logistics.
Facilitation : Lead training programs both virtually and in-person, with class sizes between 5 and 50 participants. Ability to deliver content in a lively and engaging manner that keeps the attention of attendees.
Evaluation : Effectively evaluate the operations of a location to include their practices and effectiveness in the following areas – people, operations, revenue growth, marketing practices, and profitability – all against the College H.U.N.K.S. Way.
Communication : Communicate well, with tact and professionalism, in all forms of communication – to include text, email, phone call, virtual call, and in person. This will include peers, leadership, Franchise Partners, H.U.N.K.S. who work at CHHJ / M locations, and Brand Central employees.
Auditing / Documentation : Complete checklists during field interactions and provide thoughtful and actionable next steps for location leadership, organizing and sending recap communications including the checklists within 3 business days of the visit / training. Content Creation : Collaborate closely with the Training Team and contribute to creating content in various areas by leveraging user friendly programs and tools such as Canva and Vyond.
Budget Management : Operate within the budget provided for the role – specifics to be broken down in a provided copy of our Expense Company Card Policy.
Coaching : Provide insightful coaching to Franchise Partners / Managing Partners and their teams as requested by leadership.
Performance Team Events : Participate in Franchise Performance initiatives and events as requested by leadership (contribute to Rocks, attend meeting, etc.).
Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
COMPUTER SKILLS :
The role involves the ongoing leveraging of technology to facilitate efficient and simplified training processes for the field. The candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and must be an expert in facilitating engaging training in the virtual environment, using Zoom and similar platforms.
TRAVEL :
This role will travel up to 50% of the time, varying from month to month, often with overnight travel. While some travel may occur on weekends, greater than 90% of the travel will be within the Monday-Friday work week.
LOCATION :
As travel is a requirement for this role, only individuals who live within 50 miles of a major airport will be considered.
This is a remote position.
College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving - Corp Office is independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
