College Living Experience (CLE) in Monterey, California is currently seeking a part-time Independent Living Skills (ILS) Instructor to work with our students in the independent living domain. A successful candidate will have approximately 20 hours of availability per week.

CLE is a comprehensive transitional support program for young adults diagnosed with Autism, AD/HD, and/or learning disabilities. Our students are working towards living independent adult lives and they wouldn’t be able to meet this goal without the support of individuals like you.

As an ILS Instructor you will:
- Assess client's apartment for safety and cleanliness
- Support students in all areas of independent living skills: health and hygiene, cooking, cleaning, and nutrition and meal prep.
- Develop systems for students that support their executive function skills- time management, organization, task initiation etc.
- Provide support with medication management and refills.
- Write summary notes after each session in a program called BestNotes
- Communicate regularly with the ILS Coordinator to ensure that student needs are being adequately met and reinforced.
- Attend team meetings and individual supervision, as scheduled.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree, preferred
- Working with people with autism: 1 year (Preferred)

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 25 per week
