The Intake BHT maintains a collaborative relationship with all hospital departments. Promptly handles incoming calls and demonstrates ability to screen clients; promptly forwards the information to the appropriate licensed personnel. Enters all pre-admission screening information into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system with accuracy, as needed. Handles intake calls and walk-ins as needed. Responsible for rounding on patients in the intake lobby, bathrooms and patio ensuring that intake lobby is safe at all times. Responds quickly and therapeutically in crisis/emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience as a Behavioral Health Technician in a psychiatric setting is highly recommended.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language
- Able to lift, transfer and move patients
Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices, etc. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
