Teacher Education Faculty
(with release time for Assistant Program Director, Teacher Education)

time per department’s needs, in a student-centered environment.

This Position Is Responsible For:
- Teaching appropriate graduate- and undergraduate-level courses
- Holding office hours per week and be accessible to students
- Participating in the development of policies, curriculum, and assessment of the program, as well
- Assisting in maintaining accreditation data and strategic plan data
- Completing annual state reports
- Overseeing program requirements in both undergraduate and graduate programs
Our Ideal Candidate’s Education and Experience:
- A doctoral degree in Education or closely related field is preferred.
- A well-qualified candidate with doctoral work or a master’s degree may be considered.
- Experience teaching The Science of Reading at the elementary level is required
- Preference will be given to candidates who have training and have implemented trauma-
informed and trauma-responsive practices in their teaching.
