Work Hours per week : up to 20.0
Hourly Rate of Pay : $14.00
What our office does : The Media Technologies' videography lab provides students and instructors with video equipment for use in creating short films. Instructors use equipment on campus to instruct students on proper safety and techniques of filmmaking.
Position Description :
Successful candidates will :
Reserve future equipment pickups for students and / or instructors by means of a calendar based reservation system.
Help to prepare equipment kits that will be picked up by students.
Inspect equipment for any damages and / or missing parts upon return from students.
Assist in teaching safe use of video equipment so as to avoid costly damages.
Prepare equipment for students and / or instructors to use in our video studio.
Our services benefit : CSN students and staff.
Work Experience in our Department supports the following Degree / Certificate Programs :
AAS in Commercial Photography with Videography & Film emphasis
Required Qualifications :
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have a working knowledge of Video Cameras, Lighting and Grip equipment, microphones and sound mixers.
Excellent Communication and customer service skills to interact with students on a daily basis.
Must be enrolled in or have passed VID 110.

Be enrolled in at least 6 credits and meet additional eligibility requirements of the Silver State Regents Service Program for summer semester / term employment.
