In this position, you will be working closely with instructors and staff to provide support and guidance to students. You will be responsible for monitoring instruction to ensure that it meets state legislative mandates and the regulations/procedures of the Commission on Police Officer Standards and Training.
Key responsibilities of the role include mentoring and advising Academy trainees, conducting uniform inspections/roll calls, reviewing reports, initiating progressive discipline, and fulfilling various administrative functions.
