Assistant Director, Tutoring Services
Full-Time
$20.11 - $25.14

You'll play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality tutoring services—particularly in Anatomy & Physiology and Health Professions—while organizing and supporting a team of dedicated tutors. Based primarily at the Nampa campus with a regular presence in Boise, you'll help shape the student experience through both on-campus and remote support.
Please note, this position is grant-funded, and continued employment is contingent upon future grant support.

Tutor Team Management & Direct Center Support
• Recruits, trains, supervises, and conducts performance evaluations for a team of tutors across CWI locations to ensure that they are well-versed in all aspects of effective tutoring.
• Meets regularly with all Anatomy & Physiology and other Health Professions tutors to support their work, enhance team collaboration, and provide professional development opportunities.
• Oversees routine evening and weekend coverage of Health tutoring services, providing supervision and on-call support to Health tutors outside of regular business hours.
• Participates in managing the day-to-day operations at the various tutoring centers on campus, promoting a positive image of Tutoring Services
Tutoring Leadership Team Collaboration
• Serves as a member of the Tutoring Services Leadership Team to develop, update, and implement the department’s mission, vision, and strategic goals following the division’s and the college’s identified priorities.
• Participates in compiling and analyzing data to evaluate program effectiveness, identify areas of strength and opportunity, and make informed scheduling decisions.
• Monitors the Tutoring Services email daily, coordinating with the other supervisors to make sure emails are responded to in a timely manner.
Professional Development
• Engages in professional development both locally and nationally to identify, develop, and implement innovative initiatives that advance effective tutoring support of teaching and learning.
School of Health Liaison and Instructional Support
• Collaborates with faculty and staff in the School of Health to evaluate and promote existing services and to develop new resources related to the academic support of students in those programs.
• Bachelor's degree in health, Education, Biology, or other related field
• One year of experience leading or managing others
• Experience working in higher education preferred
• Experience in tutoring or related academic support programs preferred
