Job Title: Student Ministry Coordinator: Worship & Events
Purpose Statement:
The Student Ministry Coordinator: Worship & Events, along with the Student Ministry team, exists to ignite a passion in students to follow Jesus. The role is responsible for providing ministry leadership and support to the College Park Student Ministry in worship, program, activities, and overall support to the team.
Reports to:
Assistant Pastor of Student Ministry
Responsibilities:
General
- Assist with the development and application of the vision for Student Ministries at CPC.
- Assist in planning and leading student ministry events.
- Maintain excellent communication, cooperation, and coordination with staff at CPC.
- Attend all church and department staff meetings and events required for this position.
- Attend Sunday morning Staff Huddle.
- Maintain presence and availability to serve and connect on Sundays as applicable.
- Assist in meeting with and supporting student ministry volunteers.
- Participate in the development of a vision trip for student ministry.
- Other duties as assigned.
Programming
- Develop a culture of worship/fun/engagement in Student Ministry.
- Recruit, develop, disciple, and manage students and adult volunteers for worship arts (band and production).
- Lead worship regularly on Sunday evenings, at retreats and events, and on Sunday mornings as needed (if applicable).
- Design, develop and oversee program elements for Student Ministry, both on stage (engaging games) and outside of the sanctuary (new and creative experiences).
- Lead the effort in providing innovative and artistic experiences for students.
- Provide programming for off-campus events (i.e. retreats).
- Oversee planning center and the scheduling for volunteers involved in programs.
- Oversee the setup of production sets for all environments of the program.
- Participate in teaching opportunities as needed overseen by the Assistant Pastor of Student Ministries.
Local Outreach
- Develop and maintain relationships with local school outreach programs where majority of CPC students attend.
- Develop an event with a local partner to provide a service opportunity. This will be an event for our students to attend and serve at.

Candidate Profile:
· Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
· Must be organized, reliable, self-starting, have good attention to detail and excellent task management. Demonstrated competency relating to issues facing the community-at-large
· Have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with supervisors, coworkers, and volunteers; works well in a team environment.
· This role requires strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with an aptitude in technology (Microsoft 365).
· Passionate about the vision, mission, and Core Values of College Park Church.
· Passion for ministry to youth grades 7-12 and their families.
· Is a member, or willing to become a member, of College Park Church and work under the direction of the Elders and Pastors.
· Demonstrates a stable, growing, mature Christian life in action, attitude, and behavior.
Work Schedule:
· This is a full-time, salaried and exempt role totaling approximately 40 hours weekly, Sunday-Thursday.
