Cafeteria Worker (6:30a - 1:30p)

Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is a tuition-free public charter academy, providing an academically challenging program in a safe, structured environment. CCSL opened its doors in September 2013 to serve students in K-3. The school has expanded each school year and currently serves students in K-12 as of the 2022-23 school year.

Job Duties:

• Work with the kitchen staff to carry out any necessary food preparation responsibilities for the school lunch program.
• Serve food to students as instructed and per school nutrition requirements.
• Assist in daily cleaning of all kitchen areas, equipment, tables and dishes.
• Follow all sanitation and safety procedures.
• To perform other cafeteria duties as determined by the Kitchen Manager, Food Service Director or School Administration.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Food Service Experience (preferrably in a school setting)
• Ability to perform a variety of tasks in a timely manner
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for majority of work day
• Demonstrate pleasant, customer orientated, interpersonal and communication skills

Requirements:

• Pass a criminal background check (CORI and fingerprinting)
• Available Monday - Friday during school calendar year from 6:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
• Completion of ServeSafe training upon hiring
