Responsibilities
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed schedules and protocols.
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation of medication administration and resident health status.
- Assist with vital signs checks and report any significant changes to nursing staff. As well as provide compassionate support to residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent training.
- Experience in dementia care or working within a senior living environment is preferred.
- Proficient in medication administration techniques and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with residents, families, and staff members.
