Hybrid: Required to be onsite in Stoughton, MA on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Position Overview
We are looking for a talented and motivated student to join our Medical team. As a small group, the selected candidate will receive wide exposure to multiple aspects of a Medical organization within a pharmaceutical company: including field medical execution and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development, scientific communications and real-world data generation, clinical operations, regulatory affairs, medical information, and pharmacovigilance (PV).

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and learn about the roadmap to broaden Health Care Provider (HCP) awareness about the clinical differentiation of Collegium products
- Learn and assist with the execution of Medical Affairs, Scientific Communications, and Regulatory Affairs strategies
- Assist with weekly literature surveillance by reviewing literature articles
- Help with weekly adverse event reconciliations between PV and our Medical Information Contact Center (MICC)
- Assist in organization of regulatory strategies, interactions with the Food and Drug Agency (FDA), and Regulatory Affairs document preparations and record-keeping
- Research regulatory precedence in the US for Regulatory Affairs product support
- File, track and update the Medical Affairs folders specific to slides, publications and conferences
- Gain an understanding of day-to-day activities in various medical functions in a cross-functional organization within a pharmaceutical company
- Execute and realize the impact of medical education and scientific communications in benefiting HCPs and patients
- Become more knowledgeable in the application of good documentation and good publication practices
- Gain knowledge and understanding of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
- Develop the ability to navigate the FDA Code of Federal Regulations Title 21 and FDA Guidance
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a science related field preferably with an interest in Medical and Regulatory Affairs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and people skills
- Strong computer skills using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Able to execute multiple tasks and strong attention to detail
