Position Overview
The Intern, Market Access Strategy, will develop a comprehensive market access landscape review, including:
- Evolution of recent healthcare policy changes, including IRA, under new political environment
- Trends in different payer channels (Medicaid, Medicare, Commercial)
- PBM/Payer trends as a result of implemented policy changes and how they may respond to potential pending legislation
- Evolution of pharmacy business due to margin pressures
- Trends of copay programs and PBM/payer policies on copay support
- Patient/consumer purchasing behavior given Medicare out-of-pocket cap and cash pharmacies
- Where healthcare companies are using AI and expected future impact from AI.
- Become knowledgeable on key players in the US Healthcare system, including GPO, PBMs, Payers, Distributors, Pharmacies, Patient support programs and Patients/consumers.
- Review and become an expert on recent healthcare policies and events with high impact on Collegium business.
- Develop a deep understanding of how payer and PBM businesses have evolved as a result of healthcare policy changes.
- Capture other ongoing macro trends in other key players, inclusive of AI technology, distribution model, patient support and consumer behavior.
- In collaboration with the market access team, develop viewpoints on how these ongoing changes will likely impact Collegium business.
- Organize information and learnings from secondary resources, summarize insights in Powerpoint, and present to leadership.

- Prior studies or project experience of Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, US healthcare system, or consulting desired
