Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse Med Surg PRN to join our medical surgical team. As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of our patients and their families.
In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and providing exceptional care to meet the unique needs of each patient. You will work collaboratively with our medical providers and care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating patient needs, and resolving issues
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice in good standing
- A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
