Job Summary:
Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller, the successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented and responsible for a variety of accounting functions and financial analysis, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
Primary Functions:
- Coop Calculations: Perform coop calculations in collaboration with Buyers and Contracts Administrators.
- Coop Collections: Work closely with the Accounting Team on payment deductions, invoices, and collections to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Contract Agreements: Collaborate with the Contracts team and Buyers on agreements to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Reporting: Provide accurate and timely coop reporting to Senior Management, including budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
- General Accounting: Handle account reconciliations, post journal entries, and research variances to maintain accurate financial records.
- Spend Analysis: Conduct spend analysis on various items such as postage, business travel, office supplies, and corporate credit card spend to identify cost-saving opportunities across the organization.
- Media Spend Analysis: Analyze media spend to optimize budget allocation and improve ROI. Report results to Senior Management.
- Corporate Card Administration: Manage corporate card administration to ensure availability, proper usage, and compliance.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $62,000
