Job Summary :
Collette is a guided travel company that offers a variety of tours to destinations across seven continents. We are growing fast and investing in the products that underpin the experience of traveling with us. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Analytics to join our Technology team. This is a new role, reporting to the VP of Product Management, designed to create a data-driven culture by promoting the use of analytics, educating stakeholders on its value, and translating complex insights into actionable business strategies. As Head of Analytics, you will be leading the charge by developing a strategy to build these capabilities and lead the most critical data projects. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical skills, communication, and leadership ability. Ultimately, we are looking for someone that can grasp opportunities for data and analytics to drive significant improvements in customer experience and help us achieve our business goals.
Primary Functions :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy aligned with Collette's business objectives.
- Select and implement a new web analytics platform to enhance data collection and analysis capabilities.
- Take analytical questions about the impact of our products and develop them into goals, metrics, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights.
- Coach and mentor product managers to improve their data fluency and ability to define and measure product outcomes and impacts.
- Lead key analytics initiatives, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.
- Establish framework to leverage experimentation such as A / B testing in product development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify trends, opportunities, and risks through data analysis and provide strategic recommendations.
- Learn about Collette's customers and operations in order to connect the dots between different areas of the business, synthesizing data to tell a coherent story that influences decision making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Customer Experience & Insights, Marketing, Revenue, Finance, and Customer Support to identify opportunities for leveraging data.
- Promote a data-driven culture by educating stakeholders on the value of analytics and fostering data literacy across the organization.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics.
