MEDIA ASSISTANT
Minimum Requirements (Education / Experience)
Two years of study at an institution of higher education; or an Associate’s degree (or higher); or demonstrate through a formal state or local academic assessment (ParaPro Assessment) knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics, as appropriate and knowledge of, and the ability to assist in instructing reading readiness, writing readiness, and mathematics readiness, as appropriate according to No Child Left Behind (NCLB). Basic computer skills required (e.g., ability to use email). The employee occasionally lifts and / or moves up to 75 pounds.
Special Notes
Future vacancy for employment at Bear Creek Elementary School - position will not start until school year 2025 / 2026 (August 2025).
Note - selected applicant should be willing and available to attend calendar pre-extension days to start early-August 2025 (TBD, estimated 8 / 6 / 25).
