Title: Transportation Bus Cleaner

Number of positions: 12 POSITIONS/ 3 at each compound

Daily Schedule: Hours will be scheduled between runs, weekends, and District breaks.

Description of Duties:

Heavy, outside work, exposed to heat and humidity, and wet conditions working with gloves, mask, and protective glasses, using water and cleaning materials.
Moving buses to / from parking spots to the designated site for cleaning is required. Work will consist of cleaning sub buses inside and outside. Fueling if needed. Some buses will require pressure washing of the exterior roof as well. Other work can be assigned if necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• CDL B with endorsements (Required)
• Mandatory use of protective gear (gloves, mask, goggles) which will be provided, if needed.
• No health problems, such as with the back, shoulder, arms, legs, hips, neck, high blood pressure, asthma or other respiratory issues, sensitive skin, allergies, heat affliction, working in the sun or closed areas, etc...
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, stretch and generally have full flexibility
• Follow instructions and assignments
• Work independently without close supervision.
• Work as a 3-person team, alternating functions
• Use cleaning materials, cleaning solution, rags, mops, buckets, hand pump pressure sprayer, pressure washer, hose, fans.
• Able and willing to climb up on a scaffolding to pressure wash the bus roof, and able to drive buses through the bus wash.
