Multigenerational downtown Houston, TX law firm seeks a new litigation legal assistant/secretary full-tire/direct-hire. Primary practice group is probate litigation. In-office position. Salary into the low 90s doe. Excellent benefits.
Requirements:
- 5 years of strong tenure in litigation, some probate lit experience required
- MS Word fluency including formatting; MS Office; DMS (doc mgmt system experience)
- E-Filing experience
- History of performing well in busy docket, multiple courts/jurisdictions
- Type 65 wpm
- Strong communicator-confidence required
- Experience in time entry, calendaring, support paralegals and attorneys in trial preparation; may assist with billing matters
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work 8-5 (1 hour for lunch); occasional overtime (non exempt)
