Job Summary:
This community-based interagency liaison facilitates coordination and collaboration among different senior-serving agencies and organizations within Collier County. The goal of this position is to foster effective communication and partnerships between various senior-serving stakeholders, such as nonprofits, government agencies, community groups, and service providers. This position aims to improve the overall delivery of senior services in Collier County by promoting information sharing, coordinating efforts, and identifying opportunities for collaboration among different agencies.
Essential Job Functions:
- Implement community senior initiatives as identified in the 2023 Collier Community Needs Assessment, Community Indicators, and other data. Assess current initiatives to identify strengths, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaboratively identify areas of need and gaps in services for seniors living in Collier County.
- Facilitate collaborative agreements among identified senior-serving partners to align common goals and strengthen outcomes.
- Identify strategies to address areas of need, strengthen collaborative work, and ensure a continuum of care is provided to seniors in Collier County.
- Facilitate partnerships with additional public and private agencies to expand services to seniors.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client access to community resources.
- Attend and participate in identified community meetings that benefit seniors.
- Update CRC’s resource database with relevant information.
- Provide oral and written reports to the CRC Chief Executive Officer, funders, and partners.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education Level
- Bachelor’s Degree, or minimum 5 years commensurate experience working in social and/or community services.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively.
- Knowledge of program management and reporting.
- Experience in working with community agencies, school systems, seniors, and families.
- Sensitivity to diversity and the ability to work with people of different nationalities, ethnic origins, and socioeconomic levels is essential.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

- Valid Florida Driver’s License and insurance.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on occasion.
- Attend various functions and meetings which may occur outside normal business hours and/or weekends.
