Position Summary
Family owned and operated in the Rockford community for over 60 years, Collier RV is searching for a Lot Porter to join the Service team. The lot porter is responsible for moving RVs (motorhomes, trailers, and fifth wheels) around on the lot and in and out of the shop. Job Responsibilities
- Move and park RV units in a timely fashion.
- Keeps lot clean and professional in appearance by sweeping, picking up trash and debris, and emptying garbage cans.
- Keeps RV units and other equipment secure from weather.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area for customers and coworkers.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. (Required)
- High school diploma or equivalent. (Required)
- Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment on occasion.
- Walking/Standing/Bending 8 hours daily. (Frequent sitting and standing; occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch).
- Able to lift 50 lbs consistently and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
- Experience towing vehicles.
- Experience driving an RV.
- Experience operating a forklift.
