Kateri Day Camp offers exceptional pay and a fun, outdoor work environment! Working at Kateri Day Camp will give you hands-on experience managing a diverse group of children, developing creative activities and lessons, and growing your understanding of young people.
Kateri Day Camp is a non-profit summer camp that provides over 200 children from low-income families, ages 5-15, and a safe, wholesome summer camp experience. Daily activities include swim lessons, hikes, nature, games, sports, arts & crafts, literacy, science, and many special events.
Summer Camp Sports Specialist- Responsible for developing and implementing a fun, educational sports program for campers ages 5-15. Must enjoy working outdoors while leading campers in a variety of drills, games and sports activities. Candidate should be pursuing or currently holds a college degree in physical education or experience coaching. Gym teacher preferred.
Pay : $23.00 per hour
Qualifications :
- Must have a sincere desire to work with children.
- Must be able to work the entire summer and attend mandatory training.
- Must be hardworking, diligent, energetic, respectful, and responsible.
- Must love being outdoors.
2025 Camp dates :
First Aid and CPR certifications are required for all summer staff. We will provide training, as part of our staff training, if they are not already certified.
