Collier High School is immediately seeking a Teacher of the Handicapped to work either part-time and / or full-time in our Wickatunk, NJ location.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and educate students individually and in small groups
- Develop and implement lessons and activities through a multi-sensory approach
- Provide students with differentiated instruction and behavioral modification
- Understand and align instruction based on IEP
- Maintain and establish relationships, routines, and procedures within the classroom
- Maintains a classroom environment conducive to effective learning
- Models nondiscriminatory practices in all activities
- Assists in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and school policies
- Must complete evaluations, daily reports, grades, and other reports
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for students
Qualifications :
Hours : 8 : 30-3 : 00 – Monday-Friday, from September to June following our school calendar.
Salary Range : $50,000-$60,000
