About the Role:
Bergmann, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, seeks a seasoned Senior Architect to contribute to its Mid-Atlantic Buildings team. This position encompasses diverse projects including commercial, retail, hospitality, program work, multi-use, and education projects.
Key Duties:
- Participate in programming and planning activities
- Create concept designs
- Collaborate with project teams for detailed design
- Lead and manage A/E design teams
- Foster client relationships through effective communication
- Coordinate engineering tasks and resolve design challenges
- Analyze codes and materials
- Write specifications and prepare construction documents
- Conduct site surveys and inspect client facilities
Qualification Requirements:
Candidates must hold a US license or qualify for licensure within 6 months. A bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field and 8 years of architectural design experience are preferred. Prior experience with specific types of projects is also required. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is necessary.
