Job Description:
Bergmann, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join its Mid-Atlantic Buildings team. This individual will work on a variety of projects including commercial, retail, hospitality, program work, multi-use, and education projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in programming and planning
- Create concept designs
- Work with project teams on detailed design
- Lead and manage A/E design teams
- Communicate with clients and build relationships
- Coordinate engineering tasks and solve design problems
- Analyze codes and materials
- Write specifications and prepare construction documents
- Conduct site surveys and inspect client facilities
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a US license or qualify for licensure within 6 months. A bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field and 8 years of architectural design experience are preferred. Prior experience with specific types of projects is also required. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is necessary.
