Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design seeks a well-rounded, highly motivated Marine Engineer with 5 years of experience to join in the Civil and Marine Division of our Structural Group. Our structural group is growing and we are in need of a forward -thinking engineer, eager to learn and grow with the company. The work is a very diverse with hands-on field work and office-based engineering task to balance our ability to covers the full range of marine / structural engineering design and inspection projects.
Applicants will sit out of our Valhalla, NY office, and have the options to adopt fewer office days under a flexible hybrid work environment Work includes both design and field work / inspections.
Responsibilities
- Conduct site investigations including above water and underwater inspection.
- Evaluate condition and significance of deterioration.
- Analyze deteriorated components, assesses remaining capacities.
- Help solve engineering problems and challenges.
- Liaise with other professionals and departments to gather information for projects.
- Prepare plans, designs, calculations and cost estimates.
- Prepare engineering reports and other technical documents.
- Prepare standard documents, such as technical specifications.
- Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Compensation : $100,000-$125,000 DOQ
