Overview:
Bergmann, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect to join its Mid-Atlantic Buildings team. This individual will work on commercial, retail, hospitality, program work, multi-use, and/or education projects.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in programming and planning
- Concept design
- Detailed design working with project teams
- Manage and lead A/E design teams
- Communicate with clients and build relationships
- Engineering coordination
- Problem-solving for design solutions
- Code analysis and research
- Materials and products analysis and research
- Specification writing
- Prepare and coordinate construction documents
- Surveying onsite work at client facilities
Qualifications:
Candidates should be licensed in the US or qualify for licensure within the next 6 months. The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field and 8 years' experience in architectural design. Prior experience with retail, commercial, program work, educational, healthcare, or multi-use projects is required. Candidates should be fluent in Revit and AutoCAD.
