Job Summary:
Bergmann, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is looking for a highly skilled Senior Architect to join its Mid-Atlantic Buildings team. This role involves working on various projects including commercial, retail, hospitality, program work, multi-use, and education projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Programming and planning assistance
- Concept design creation
- Collaboration with project teams for detailed design
- Leading and managing A/E design teams
- Client communication and relationship building
- Engineering coordination and problem-solving
- Code analysis and materials/products research
- Specification writing and document preparation
- Onsite surveying and facility inspections
Requirements:
Candidates must hold a US license or qualify for licensure within 6 months. A bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field and 8 years of architectural design experience are preferred. Prior experience with specific types of projects is also required. Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is necessary.
