Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our Civil / Site team in Albany, NY! This Senior Engineer will be responsible for various technical aspects of land development projects including, but not limited to : site feasibility and conceptual planning, detailed grading, drainage designs and profiles, stormwater management, designing Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) Best Management Practices (BMPs), and other regulatory items.

A Senior Engineer will work within AutoCAD and Civil 3D as well as other engineering software alongside the design team to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines. Come join our growing & evolving team of land development engineers, today!
Responsibilities
- Perform design tasks, such as conceptual planning, detailed grading, and drainage designs associated with civil engineering construction projects.
- Prepare stormwater management calculations including developing basin routings, channel design, and inlet capacity calculations.
- Generate pipe profiles and review stormwater designs based on project constraints.
- Identify problems, evaluate alternatives, and recommend solutions to peers and management.
- Produce construction drawings, plans, and cost estimates.
- Develop Erosion & Sedimentation Pollution Control (E&SPC) and Post-Construction Stormwater Management (PCSM) plan sets and reports.
- Conform to the company’s standard AutoCAD procedures for layering, details, etc.
- Provide technical support to more senior staff.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Compensation : $74,000 to $86,300 per year (depending on qualifications)
