Overview :
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a System Administrator to join our team! This System Administrator will be responsible for the overall health of the Companys computer systems. Maintain, monitor, improve and secure the Companys overall corporate IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities :
- Perform server administration tasks, including user / group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Manage and maintain the SCCM infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
- Oversee software distribution, patch management, and endpoint protection using SCCM.
- Develop and implement SCCM policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot SCCM-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Monitor datacenter health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers, servers, printers, phones, security updates.
- Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed.
- Analyze system architecture and usage to ensure capacity and performance to meet business needs.
- Perform routine / scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups.
- Optimize processes and lead process improvement.
- Test and research new products and technologies and submit results to IT Infrastructure Manager.
- Develop and document configuration guidelines. Develop and test requirements for new hardware and software.
- Implement and document fail-over configuration and disaster recovery plan for critical enterprise network and server assets.
Qualifications :
Compensation : $50,000-$79,000 / YR DOQ
