Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Engineer (2-5 years) for its growing Traffic Planning team in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities
- Acquire knowledge and develop essential skills in a specific practice area.
- Apply learned techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate the ability to prepare low-level complexity general engineering designs and/or technical data for completion and accuracy.
- Assist with other project-related tasks such as permit applications, material testing, drawings, and CAD work.
- Exercises judgment on work details and works under direct supervision on all aspects of assigned tasks.
- Work within AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines.
Typical projects include the following elements:
- Traffic Impact Studies.
- DOT Access Permitting.
- Parking Studies.
- Traffic Signal Design.
- Traffic Calming Design.
- Roadway Design.
- Maintenance and Protection of Traffic Design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related field).
- 2-5 years of experience in Traffic Planning and/or Traffic Engineering/Signal Design.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred or able to obtain in first 6 months of hire.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at once.
- Must thrive in a team setting and have a great attitude.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to comprehend written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
